I knew this was going to be a grand adventure when I first met with Rebecca and John at my studio. As Rebecca was describing her country-themed wedding and John was detailing the fun they had as a couple, I was convinced good times were ahead. They chose a farm out in Switzer- pronounced with a southern draw on the “i.” That means “it ain’t like Switerland” as my conditioned midwestern tongue wanted to say.
My goodness how the golden setting sun ran across the deep green fields! The steady rushing water under the old covered bridge created a soothing lull. Rebecca and John didn’t mind to trek through weeds or sit in the grass. I’m not usually the real mushy sort but the sight of them in their matching camo shirts did melt my heart a little. Seriously…they looked cute together:) It was meant to be! I’m so excited to photograph thier wedding in August at Keeneland!
The skies couldn’t have been clearer and the sun brighter on that April afternoon. Whitney married Jeremy at the lovely Red Mile Racetrack. Their green theme was woven throughout the groomsmens green Chucks to the bridesmaids’ dresses.
