If you’re looking for a musician that’s as enjoyable to hang out with as he is to listen to- you’ve got to check out Lexington, Kentucky guitarist and songwriter Chris Weiss. Listening to him run his fingers over the fretboard of his guitar will leave your head spinning. He’s as good of songwriter to boot! I’ve known Chris for several years and his style and stance has blossomed with the support of his family and fans. It’s always a pleasure to be a photographer for his media shots or a concert. Make sure to check him out on his concert tour this summer!
Leah and John; as sweet as pie and country as can be. Both are the kind of people you know within a few minutes you’re going to be good friends. How perfect to have an engagement photography session in the Kentucky countryside for this down-to-Earth couple. They chose Pisgah Pike Church. John even shined up his dear Chevy pick up just for the occasion! Can’t wait to be your wedding photographer in July!
Amber and Derek met me at Shaker Village for a beautiful evening engagement session. It’s one of the most beautiful places near Lexington for a photography session. It was March so the air was cool but the sunshine was nice and warm. Such a fun-loving couple! They even brought their cute little pup- Brody! I’m looking forward to their September wedding!
What a perfect Missouri April day for a wedding. Alaina, a Kentucky girl, married her sweetheart, Ryan, on the outskirts of St. Louis. Usually I photograph weddings in the Lexington, Kentucky region but Alaina wanted me to come to Missouri for the wedding. Her family is made of the most wonderful people on earth (9 girls, one boy!) so how could I say no?!
They had their first look in the morning on a farm among deep rolling hills and meadows near the Missouri River. The spring flowers were in bloom and the temperature couldn’t have been more than 70. After a time of photos we made our way back to the church for their ceremony and reception. What a great way to kick off the wedding season. They made me part of the family:)
